2026 Annual Meeting Minutes
April 21,2026
Attendees: L. Johnson, L. Pellett, B. Pellett, A. Rose, B. Brockway, G. Brockway, Z. Thome, M. Allen, D. Ferguson, F. Bartow
Call to Order: at 7PM by Chair Bartow
Agenda & Posting: Motion to approve Supervisor Thome, 2nd Supervisor Brockway, Approved
2025 Annual Minutes: Motion to approve Brockway, 2nd Thome, Approved
Recognition of Electors for Questions/Statements: D. Ferguson brought up all the vehicles and junk on different properties and motorhomes in different areas. Guided to contact county zoning. Questioned ordinances and enforcement. There is an option to pay the county cops $53 an hour to enforce our ordinances. Motion to advise the board to contract with the Richland County Sheriff Department to enforce local ordinances by A. Rose, 2nd L. Pellett. 4 Yays 0 Nays. Motion of Electors’ carries
A.Rose spoke of angle parking vs parallel parking, recited a state statute in regard to wanting parallel parking on 3rd street in Gotham. It was mentioned about the changes that would be coming with the HWY 60 project. Motion to advise the board to enforce Wi statute 346.54 parking rules A. Rose, 2nd D. Ferguson. 3 Yay, 2 Nay. Electors’ motion carries
D. Furgason questioned what is going to happen with the King property. It’s an order to Raze- we, the town does not have the authority to go in. Update was given in town’s February meeting.
D. Furgason asked where the Owl was. No one to run and man it. Doesn’t always transcribe correctly. Other towns quit using. Motion by A. Rose to advise the town to sell the Owl, 2nd D. Furgason. 4 yays 0 Nays, electors motion carries
A. Rose asked if the board has government email addresses. Not currently
A. Rose inquired about the liquor license renewal process. Concerns about incidents on 3rd st. Was informed of the process.
